The Opportunity: Software Engineering Intern

We're seeking a motivated and technically curious software engineering intern to join our team for Summer 2026 (May - August). You'll work across our full stack, contributing to both backend services and frontend interfaces while learning about AI integration, modern web development, and production systems.

This is an ideal opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields who want to gain real-world experience at a fast-moving startup.

What You'll Work On

• Full-Stack Features: Build and ship features across our stack using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres. You'll own features end-to-end from design to deployment.
• AI Integration: Work with LLMs and AI tools to build intelligent features that automate manual work for our customers.
• Data & Backend: Design database schemas, write APIs, and ensure our backend services are reliable and performant.
• Customer-Facing Work: Build intuitive user interfaces and participate in customer demos and feedback sessions.
• Code Quality: Write tests, participate in code reviews, and learn best practices for maintainable, production-grade software.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (graduating 2026 or later).
• Programming Fundamentals: Strong foundation in programming with experience in at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.).
• Web Development: Some experience building web applications, whether through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships. Familiarity with React, Node.js, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of databases and SQL. Experience with Postgres is a bonus but not required.
• Learning Mindset: Enthusiasm for learning new technologies quickly and comfort with ambiguity. We value curiosity and initiative over knowing everything upfront.
• Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with a small team.
• Bonus: Interest or experience in AI/ML, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.), or FinTech is a huge plus.
